Jewish Holidays

Jewish holidays are a wonderful time to celebrate, eat good food, and be in community. We also know that navigating your options for ways to observe the holidays can be a lot, so we try to make it easier by creating DMV Holiday Guides where you can find out about all the local events, services, meals, classes, and resources for each Jewish holiday.

Additionally, GatherDC offers its own alternative holiday experiences like our annual Alternative Yom Kippur, Passover seders, and more. By “alternative,” we mean interactive, creative, reflective, community-oriented, and / or non-traditional in our approaches to practice and ritual — and, most importantly, warm and welcoming.

Want to find out about upcoming Holiday Guides and experiences? Make sure you’re subscribed to our weekly newsletter and following us on Instagram and Facebook to be in the know about all things Gather and all things Jewish DMV!
