Nissimmi is a chef, ordained rabbi, international educator and speaker, who combines his love of food and people with his commitment to building connections between culture, Jewish identity, and tradition.

From flavorful foundations in his grandmother Miriam’s kitchen to working in some of Israel’s most renowned restaurants, Nissimmi’s culinary journey is rooted in the traditions and flavors of the Jewish heritage, stories and memories. His work explores the central role food plays in shaping Jewish identity, using rich historic knowledge, Jewish texts, and of course, carbs.

Chef Bio: Beyond the cutting board, Nissimmi holds degrees in philosophy, economics, political science, and law. He received his rabbinical ordination from the Hartman Institute. He serves as a Casualties Notification Officer as p
