Trump’s occupation of DC has been shocking and horrifying – for immigrants, unhoused people, youth of color who are brutally targeted by federal agents, and for everyone in DC who cares about their neighbors and communities. It’s important and urgent to galvanize our community members behind the demands of the moment! That’s why on Sunday, September 28th, JUFJ is hosting this community meeting for Jews across the District to:

– Come together and take stock of the moment we’re in
– Ground in community, art and song
– Discuss our strategies to support our neighbors’ immediate needs
– Learn about opportunities to take powerful action.

As we head into the Jewish New Year we are asked to heed the call to reflect, repent and renew, and ultimately turn that call into action. So, whether you’ve been active with JUFJ for years or you heard about us for the first time last week, this event is for you.
