  • DC Tashlich with GatherDC and Sixth & I

Edlavitch DC JCC 1529 16th St NW, Washington, DC, United States

Join friends at GatherDC for this special Rosh Hashanah ritual!
We'll be gathering together for tashlich (i.e. casting away), a cathartic tradition for the Jewish New Year in which we toss pieces of old bread (or pebbles, leaves, sticks, etc.) into a body of water to symbolically cast away regrets and disappointments from the past year.
GatherDC and Sixth & I will provide the materials - just bring yourself! We look forward to coming together for this special tradition.
