DC Tashlich with GatherDC and Sixth & I September 28, 2025 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm Edlavitch DC JCC 1529 Sixteenth St NW, Washington, District Of Columbia, United States Join friends at GatherDC for this special Rosh Hashanah ritual! We'll be gathering together for tashlich (i.e. casting away), a cathartic tradition for the Jewish New Year in which we toss pieces of old bread (or pebbles, leaves, sticks, etc.) into a body of water to symbolically cast away regrets and disappointments from the past year. GatherDC and Sixth & I will provide the materials - just bring yourself! We look forward to coming together for this special tradition. Got questions?
