After the last several months, as rounds of federal and federal-adjacent layoffs have turned people’s lives upside down, many in our community find themselves trying to figure out what’s next. Join us and the Jewish Social Impact Network (JSI) for an evening that blends Jewish wisdom, practical inspiration, and career strategy.
Hear from a panel of former federal and federal-adjacent professionals who have successfully pivoted into new careers for inspiration on how to take a leap of faith into something new. Each panelist will share their story and lessons learned about aligning personal values, professional skills, and opportunities to do good in the world. Following the panel, attendees will have time for small-group conversations with the speakers and their peers — a chance to share experiences, ask questions, and identify next steps. We will also raffle off professional headshots (to be scheduled for a later date) for 15 event participants.
Please note that this workshop is intended for people impacted by federal job cuts. It is open to former federal and federal-adjacent employees. We understand that many are juggling childcare with job searching – feel free to bring your children to this event if needed (childcare will not be provided but they are welcome to be with you throughout the event).
This event is free, but RSVP is required.
