The American Jewish Community: New Identity Challenges After Oct. 7 with WHC

February 23 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

The killing of 1,200 Israelis on Octo_ber 7, 2023, by Hamas mil_i_tants becomes a hor_ri_ble crime that chal_lenges the core of Rabbi John Rosove’s beliefs. For months, he finds him_self lost in doubt and grief and, yes, a desire for revenge. In the end, as the tragedy of Gaza unfolds, his brave voice does not waver in its deter_mi_na_tion to see peace and social jus_tice come to the Mid_dle East, for the chil_dren of Pales_tine and Israel.

Rabbi Rosove and WHC Rabbi Sue Shankman will discuss the challenges facing the American Jewish community since October 7.
