Mosaic Playwright in Residence Psalmayene 24—author of the book and lyrics—will introduce and perform a musical excerpt from the play Young John Lewis: Prodigy of Protest

7:45pm: Enjoy a communal dinner, led by the Social Action Committee, with engaging break-out groups for discussion and connection. Congressman Jamie Raskin will be in conversation with Adas Rabbis on the legacy of John Lewis and its current charge to strengthen community and build coalition across cultural, racial socioeconomic and ideological divides. We will reflect on the historic “Black-Jewish Civil Rights Alliance” and on where we are and need to get to today.
