Jewish tradition teaches that in a just world, all people — no matter the color of our skin, where we are from, or how much money we have — would have what the Torah calls dei machsoro, resources sufficient for our needs. But in DC, the people with the most money are not paying their fair share to help meet the needs of their neighbors. We have a chance to change that this fall. Join JUFJ’s Fund Our Futures campaign as we and our partners work to pass a wealth tax before the end of the year so that everyone in our city has what we need to live a dignified life.

JUFJ and our partners at Washington Interfaith Network and the DC Fair Budget Coalition are canvassing wealthy residents in Ward 3 to ask them to support this campaign. Join us on October 5 or 11 as we talk to JUFJers about what their tax dollars can support, from childcare to housing to transit and so much more!
