    Location: Pozez JCC of Northern Virginia, 8900 Little River Turnpike, Fairfax
    The film, ÒLa Lucha' follows the inspiring 35-day, 250-mile journey of activists Feliza, Mareele, Rose Mery, and Miguel, who marched across the Andes to La Paz advocating for disability rights. Despite harsh conditions and hostility, their determination, supported by allies, led to laws recognizing disability rights in Bolivia, showcasing the power of collective action.

    After the film, join a panel on Disability Rights Advocacy - Empowering Change, where experts will discuss breaking barriers to inclusion and promoting policies for equal access to education, healthcare, and employment.

    Rabbi Cantor partners with 20s, 30s, and 40s to build intentional Jewish communal spaces of self-exploration and belonging through one-to-one rabbinic relationships, intimate gatherings for deep learning and ritual, and leadership development. Prior to his ordination from the pluralistic Hebrew College, Rabbi Emmanuel worked as a community organizer for Jews United for Justice and earned a BA in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Yale University. Rabbi Emmanuel is dedicated to a diversity of Jewish paths and expressions, supporting all those seeking deeper connections to Judaism and Jewish community.
