Contemporary Jewish poets and writers have also crafted liturgies for seemingly mundane occasions, such as going to a party or even watching TV. Join Rabbi Emmanuel to explore the traditions and practices of "everyday" blessings, followed by art inspired by our learning: creative writing, poetry, interpretive translation, drawing, sketching, and more. This session is designed with first-time poets or painters in mind–nobody will be put on the spot! All are welcome and no prior experience necessary.
