We're thrilled to announce the groundbreaking of our new community garden, a collaborative effort with our neighbors at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Together, we'll lay the foundation for a flourishing space, installing a fence, garden boxes, and storage, and establishing pathways to the garden - all while enriching our soil with mulch and hope. Roll up your sleeves and make a difference! Whether you're a seasoned gardener or new to the soil, there's a place for you. Come dressed ready to work outdoors, and let's create something beautiful together. Our harvest will nourish local veterans. We're proud to partner with Cook for VETS, a vital nonprofit providing free meals to those who served. From flavorful foundations in his grandmother Miriam's kitchen to working in some of Israel's most renowned restaurants, Nissimmi's culinary journey is rooted in the traditions and flavors of the Jewish heritage, stories and memories. His work explores the central role food plays in shaping Jewish identity, using rich historic knowledge, Jewish texts, and of course, carbs.
