    Am Kolel welcomes your participation in services this Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur led by Rabbi David Shneyer, a singer and guitarist. He will be accompanied by members of the Fabrangen Fiddlers and other klezmer. We will also offer a children's service on the first day of Rosh Hashanah and on Yom Kippur day. Adult services will also be live-streamed for those who prefer or cannot attend in person.

    Elul - the Hebrew month before Rosh HaShanah - is a time for spiritual preparation. We are meant to begin taking an account of our souls, thinking about the moments we missed the mark, and how we can do better in the coming year. This year, we are offering space to start doing this work together. We will discuss themes of the High Holidays, explore the theological implications of the prayers, and start our own reflections. It will all culminate on Selichot, when we will take a look at the confessional prayers as a community. We hope you will join us.

    Come learn how to braid a round challah as we prepare for Rosh HaShanah! We will make the dough together, let it rise while we shmooze about other Jewish foods, and then braid it together! You will be able to take your challah home to bake.
