He will be accompanied by members of the Fabrangen Fiddlers and other klezmer. We will also offer a children's service on the first day of Rosh Hashanah and on Yom Kippur day. Selichot with Am Kolel September 20, 2025 @ 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm Provided to ticketholders Downtown, Washington, District of Columbia, United States Deep dive into vidui (the confessional prayer), personal reflections -- Elul - the Hebrew month before Rosh HaShanah - is a time for spiritual preparation. We are meant to begin taking an account of our souls, thinking about the moments we missed the mark, and how we can do better in the coming year. This year, we are offering space to start doing this work together. We will discuss themes of the High Holidays, explore the theological implications of the prayers, and start our own reflections. It will all culminate on Selichot, when we will take a look at the confessional prayers as a community.
