On Sunday, August 3 at 2:00pm, we will join other Jewish congregations for Tisha B'Av and gather in downtown Baltimore at the ICE Field Office (31 Hopkins Pl, Baltimore, MD 21201) to mourn and demonstrate our collective resistance to the ongoing attacks on immigrant communities in Maryland. The program will include mincha (afternoon prayer), learning about concrete ways to support immigrants, and other meaningful activities for anyone who does not wish to participate in the prayer service. This event for all ages, including kids (there will be banner painting!), and is outdoors rain or shine, so please dress accordingly. Please note there is limited shade and seating.

At 5:00pm, we will meet back in DC (location TBA) to reflect on the pain of unlawful arrests, detentions, and deportations. The reflection is indoors and mask optional. You do not need to attend the action in Baltimore to attend the reflection.
