Sarah Flores Shannon is the proud daughter of a Cuban mother and an Irish-American father, and is happy to live in her hometown of Falls Church. Professionally, she is working to change the narrative on faith and reproductive freedom at National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW), and also serves on the board of a local abortion fund. In her free time, she combines her love of ritual and delicious food by cooking her way through the Jewish holidays. Sarah loves to travel, and claims the title of most efficient passenger at airport security.
