Ilana Kowarski is a self-described “frequent flyer” at Jewish events in the DMV. She is a professional writer who has a deep love for arts and culture, including music and literature, and she loves to sing. Ilana has organized Jewish-oriented singles mixers and philosophy meet-ups in the past, plus numerous Shabbat get-togethers. There is nothing she likes better than bringing good people together to enjoy each other’s company.
For her Capstone Project, Ilana is creating a resource guide for DMV Jewish singles. The guide will focus on Jewish organizations and events that are singles-oriented or singles-welcoming. Her guide will be at once informative and humorous, joyful and empowering.
