What do I love most about my work? I love meeting new people and helping you find your voice and your place among our people. I find it meaningful to share joyous and painful life-cycle occasions with you. It is special to me to help you create a personalized and meaningful wedding ceremony, brit milah, brit bat naming ceremony, etc.
How is Judaism valuable in my life? Judaism guides me in how I spend my time, my resources, and energy to help improve my life, my community, and the world.
Why did I decide to become a rabbi? I grew up in Albert Lea, MN, the only girl in my graduating class of 500 kids. I am spending my life searching, growing, and developing a warm and welcoming Jewish identity and joyful egalitarian Reconstructionist religious celebrations. Building community is very important to me as well as helping you feel supported and cared about as a member of the Jewish people-however you define yourself. Contributing to a caring community is essential to me because I know what it feels like to not be part of a community. I want to help you find a way in to active Jewish life.
What services do I offer? Weddings/Other Lifecycle Events, Conversions, 1:1 Learning Opportunities, Adult B’nai Mitzvah
