Who are we? The Maryland School for Jewish Education offers an inclusive, welcoming community for families seeking a high-quality Jewish education without synagogue membership requirements. Serving grades K–7 at the Bender JCC in Rockville, we provide engaging lessons, bar/bat mitzvah preparation, and free High Holiday services, all rooted in Reform traditions. Our teachers create a fun, supportive environment where children develop Jewish knowledge, values, pride, and learn the Hebrew language.
