The Jcrc Of Greater Washington Considers It Our Most Sacred Obligation To Host The Annual Community-Wide Yom Ha’shoah Commemoration In Memory Of The Six Million Jews Killed During The Holocaust And In Honor Of The Survivors And Their Family Members Among Us.
Please Join Us Sunday, April 12 At 1:30 Pm In Fairfax, Va For This Poignant And Meaningful Tribute That Brings Together The Community To Reflect And Strengthen Our Resolve At A Difficult Time Of Unprecedented Antisemitism Around The Globe. Holocaust Survivor Irene Fogel Weiss, A Northern Virginia Resident, Will Be Our Keynote Speaker.
The Exact Location Will Be Provided To Registrants Closer To The Event Date.
This Year, We Are Pleased To Offer A Special Teen Interfaith Conversation With Holocaust Survivor Peter Feigl, Planned Exclusively For Jewish Teens And Their Non-Jewish Peers From Around The Region. This Program, Which Will Take Place From 12:00 Pm – 1:15 Pm At The Same Venue As The Main Commemoration, Promises To Be Impactful For All Participants. Lunch Will Be Provided.
