Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: ‘What are you doing for others?”

In the spirit of Tikkun Olam and to honor King’s legacy on MLK Day, join fellow TRS congregants for a day of community service. There will be plenty of family-friendly activities onsite, including:

-bagging beans and rice for the local food bank,
-making blankets and snack packs to support families through Northern Virginia Families Services (NVFS),
-assembling hygiene kits for another local nonprofit,
and many more!

There will also be opportunities for smaller groups to volunteer offsite at the local food bank, to clean up and organize the NVFS Clock Tower Thrift shop or participate in a sing-along at Chesterbrook Senior Living Center.
