Bubbe (Yiddish for grandma) knows best when it comes to dispensing life advice with warmth, love, and a dose of chutzpah. If you’re facing a dilemma, have something weighing on your mind, or are just looking for a soft-as-a-matzah-ball shoulder to rest your keppe (head), our team of real-life bubbes can help.

Ahead of our Simchat Torah party, our bubbe brigade will be popping up outside Sixth & I to offer timeless advice for problems big and small. Everyone is welcome to talk to a bubbe, whether you’re Jewish, Jew-ish, or simply a big fan of grandmothers.

We promise they won’t pinch your cheeks, but they’ll probably call you bubbeleh (sweetie or darling).
