The Art of Mordecai Ardon with Jewish Art Education

July 12 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Celebrate Ardon’s 130th Birthday with Jewish Art Education through this virtual public program!

Mordecai Ardon was born in Galicia (now Poland) and studied with Paul Klee at the Bauhaus in Germany during the 1920s. He immigrated to Eretz Israel in 1933. He painted the landscape as a mystical and luminescent experience and paid homage to Jerusalem. He used symbols to memorialize those lost during the Holocaust and was one of Israel’s greatest painters.

Enjoy his powerful art, included in the slideshow as well as the in-depth narration.

The presentation will be recorded. All registrants will receive a link to the recording, which will be available for 14 days.

Funds raised from our public programs will be used to assist organizations that could not otherwise afford our regular program fees.
Cost Range: $9 – $36
