This weekend is HIAS’ Seventh Annual Refugee Shabbat. DCM’s Social Action Committee invites you to a Shabbat afternoon convening, where we will learn Torah, reflect on our history and the current moment, discuss how we can act to support refugees, asylum seekers, and displaced people, and eat some snacks.

The convening will take place at 5:30 p.m. in Dupont Circle (a 5-minute walk from Friends), followed by Havdalah.
