Close out Purim with a Megillah reading & feast!

The plan:

4:30pm for megillah.

5:30pm for feasting and other merry-making.

7 pm we’ll light candles and welcome shabbat together.

Alongside the megillah (mitzvah #1) and the feast (seudah – mitzvah #2), we’ll have opportunities to fulfill the other two Purim mitzvot: gifts to those in need (matanot l’evyonim – mitzvah #3) and gift baskets to friends (mishloach manot – mitzvah #4)

Costumes welcome & encouraged.

COVID: Weather permitting, this event will be outside; masks will be optional, spreading out according to your custom welcome. In the event of rain, we’ll move inside and require KN95 or equivalent masks.
Access: There are about 6 steps into our house where the restroom is. We are working with our neighbors and property manager to arrange a wheelchair accessible bathroom – if you would benefit from this please let us know when you register and we can work to ensure one is available. Thanks for your patience as we work to make our house more physically accessible.
Scents: We minimize the use of scents in our house and ask that you do the same when visiting.
Food: Our kitchen is ingredient-kosher, meaning everything that comes in is kosher but not necessarily hekshered except for meat, which must be hekchered. If you require hekshered food or have other dietary restrictions, please indicate that on your registration. We’re committed to making sure you have something to eat and may reach out if we have questions about how to best do that.
