Lecture on Operation Benjamin with Kesher Israel Congregation

January 18 @ 7:15 pm - 8:15 pm

Come hear Shalom Lamm, the co-founder and Chief Historian of Operation Benjamin. The Mission of Operation Benjamin is to find American Jewish soldiers who died in service in WW2 and who were mistakenly buried under Latin Crosses in America’s foreign cemeteries. Working with the families and the American Battle Monuments Commission, they replace the crosses with Stars of David in beautiful ceremonies. To date, they have successfully completed 30 replacements in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy, and the Philippines. The work of Operation Benjamin has been featured in The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, and the Washington Post.

***This event will take place at the home of Judah Rose and Alisa Schreier. Please register in order to get the exact location.
