Lawyers Lunch & Learn: Sanctioned Bigotry: Antisemitism in US History with JCRC

September 28 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

The JCRC of Greater Washington, American Jewish Committee (AJC), The American Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists (AAJLJ), The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington Next Gen Lawyers and Lawyers Divisions, and Tzedek DC invite you to the next session in our Lawyers Lunch & Learn, Sanctioned Bigotry: Antisemitism in US History.

Featuring: Britt P. Tevis, assistant professor of history and the Phyllis Backer Professor of Jewish Studies, Syracuse University

Though a frequent topic of discussion, antisemitism in the United States is a poorly understood historical phenomenon. In this talk, Britt Tevis offers a historical lens on anti-Jewish bigotry, discrimination, and violence by illuminating underappreciated and unexplored dimensions of anti-Jewish inequality from America’s past.
