Join us while we sip, study, and schmooze. In this 4-part series exploring the intersection of Jewish tradition and alcohol, we’ll taste our way through wine, beer, and whiskey while diving into fascinating questions like: What makes whiskey kosher? Why are there a million rules about wine in Jewish law? Can beer ever substitute its grape-made cousin for ritual purposes? What’s the story on brewing/fermenting your own booze?
Each session will feature a different kosher alcoholic beverage (plus non-alcoholic options) and thought-provoking Jewish learning in great company. We’re building a cohort–so while we hope you’ll come to all four sessions, drop-ins are still welcome if that’s what works for you.
