The Inclusion and Accessibility Committee invites the TRS community to conclude Shabbat with an Inclusive Havdalah Service, which includes singing, lighting the special Havdalah candle, and smelling sweet spices. We say goodbye to Shabbat and look forward to the sweetness of the new week to come. The service is followed by an Oneg.
Our Inclusive Havdalah Service welcomes everyone, while focusing on meaningful inclusion of people of all ages with disabilities and mental health conditions, or who are neurodiverse, in a religious community experience.
The service is open to congregants and their guests, as well as the greater Jewish community. There is no charge to attend. Registration is not required. For more information or if you need accommodations to participate, please email inclusion@templerodefshalom.org.
