Calling all pups (and their people!)…
HavDOGlah is back!
Join WHC for our 4th annual celebration of “all things dogs” and Shabbat on Saturday, May 2, at the Julia Bindeman Suburban Center, from 4:00 – 5:00 pm. There is no charge to attend, but please pre-register so we know how many people (and pets) to expect. This event is planned by WHECTY (WHC’s youth group).
What makes HavDOGlah special?
A dog-themed Havdalah service Hot dogs (Hebrew National and non-meat alternatives) will be available. Bring your dog(s)! Please follow these important guidelines….
Please only bring your dog if they behave when around other dogs All dogs must be on a leash at all times and be able to be controlled by whoever is holding the leash. Be prepared to pick up after your dog. Leave no trace! HavDOGlah is open to the entire community and is a family-friendly event – we look forward to sharing this special event with you!
There is no charge for this event, but we always appreciate donations to WHECTY!
In case of inclement weather, the event will still take place indoors, and we just ask that you leave your dogs at home.
If you have any questions, please contact Leila Gordon at lgordon@whctemple.org.
