In this session, we will explore the power and poetry of the Book of Lamentations (Eicha) and its interpretive traditions. First, we’ll spend time digging into the texts, midrash and poetry of Eicha as we explore themes of loss, memory, and hope. Then, we’ll have a chance to create art in response, weaving together different modes of learning, processing and expression. Absolutely no art experience necessary. Art is just another tool to get into the text more deeply.
