Temple Rodef Shalom’s Music and Performing Arts Committee invites you to celebrate the past, present, and future of women in the cantorate and honor the trailblazing legacy of Cantor Barbara Ostfeld, Reform’s first female cantor!

Falls Church, VA – Join us in celebrating 50 Years of Women in the Cantorate with a breathtaking concert on Saturday evening, featuring the extraordinary talent of Cantor Barbara Ostfeld, the first woman ordained as a Reform cantor in Jewish history. She will be joined by Temple Rodef Shalom’s own cantors and guest cantors from across the DMV, uniting their voices in a powerful tribute to this historic milestone.

The concert will take place in our beautiful sanctuary at Temple Rodef Shalom, where you will be surrounded by the uplifting sounds of music that celebrate the profound contributions women have made to Jewish liturgy, spirituality, and community life.
