Where do you feel at home? Who makes you feel welcome, and how do we create that feeling for others?

Join Rabbi Aderet and Den Member and Sacred Facilitator Fellow Heather Brody for a creative evening exploring what it means to be a guest, welcome others in, and build the communities that sustain us. Through Jewish texts and the mystical tradition of ushpizin, the symbolic guests invited into the sukkah, we’ll consider who helps us feel that we belong and what it takes to build a village today.

We’ll bring these ideas to life through conversation and hands-on artmaking with watercolors, pastels, collage, and mixed media, while enjoying light refreshments and connecting with new and familiar faces.

No artistic or Jewish learning experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to explore. Come as you are!
