Join us for “Havdalah in Bloom: A Shavuot Celebration of Fruits and Flowers”, where we’ll close Shabbat together and welcome the joy of Shavuot. In ancient times, Shavuot was an agricultural festival celebrating the first fruits of the harvest in the Land of Israel. Meet at 6 pm at South Block in East Falls Church for a delicious fruit bowl or smoothie. Then, walk together around the corner to Benjamin Banneker Park for a serene Havdalah service.
