Join us for a beginner-friendly backpacking weekend in the quiet backcountry of Shenandoah National Park. Over three days, we’ll hike into one of the park’s most beautiful areas, camp beside a flowing creek, and spend Shabbat in the backcountry.
We aim to gather with other wonderful Jews – generally between the ages of 25-40 – to connect with each other, explore Judaism in an embodied way, have fun, play together in nature, and relax back into quiet.
This is a great opportunity for new backpackers. We are Shomer-Shabbat friendly and provide kosher food, but welcome people of all observance levels.
