A Taste of History: Exploring Israeli Wine with IPF Atid

January 24 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

For more than 3,000 years, wine has been at the center of Jewish ritual and celebration—so naturally, we’re gathering around it again, this time with friends, history, and conversation. Join IPF Atid D.C. for an evening that blends ritual and culture as we mark the end of Shabbat with a Havdalah ritual led by Rabbi Aderet Drucker, then transition into a guided Israeli wine tasting with Brett Drucker, sommelier and founder of Own Your Palate. Together, we’ll explore the history of winemaking in Israel, its diverse wine regions, and how geography, climate, and tradition shape what’s in the glass. The evening will feature a curated selection of three Israeli wines and the stories, landscapes, and people behind them.
