At the heart of Temple Rodef Shalom is our Shabbat service: a sacred pause at the end of the week when we come together as a community that cares for one another. In moments of joy, sorrow, and the rhythms of everyday life, we seek to create a meaningful spiritual encounter with self, community, and God. Reflecting the diversity of our congregation, our prayer life embraces a wide range of experiences and expressions, celebrating Shabbat through song, prayer, learning, music, and reflection. Led by our dynamic clergy team, our services sit at the intersection of tradition and modernity, offering spiritually and intellectually uplifting experiences where each person can find connection, belonging, and meaning.
This Shabbat, we gather in a special spirit of celebration as we honor the diversity, dignity, and sacred worth of every individual in our community. Grounded in the Jewish value of b’tzelem Elohim, the belief that every person is created in the image of God, we proudly affirm and celebrate our LGBTQ+ members, friends, and loved ones. Together, through prayer, music, and reflection, we lift up the values of inclusion, belonging, justice, and joy that are at the heart of both Judaism and Pride. We invite you to join us as we embrace the beauty of our community and the holiness of being exactly who we are.
