Several years ago, the term ÒJewBarrassment’ came on the scene to describe a negative feeling some experience when they make a ritual Òmistake,’ or don’t know something relating to Jewish culture or observance. Whether you have heard of ÒJewBarrassment’ or are new to the term, many of us can identify with the fear of not-knowing the Òright’ thing to do in one setting or another–regardless of Jewish background, upbringing, or experience. In this spirit, join Rabbi Emmanuel for an open-hearted conversation and learning exploring Jewish wisdom and personal reflections on a wide-range of experiences and feelings associated with ÒJewBarrassment.’
