Join Rabbi Shankman and Cantor Bortnick for Living Mindfully, a six-week journey into cultivating awareness through a Jewish lens. Together, we will explore how listening, thought, word, and deed reflect and shape the fullness of who we are. Drawing on Jewish texts, soulful chant, and accessible mindfulness practices, each class invites you to notice, awaken, and align your inner and outer lives with greater intention.
The series culminates with an optional Shabbaton (retreat) on Saturday, November 22, at JBSC, where we will have a Shabbat of practice and study. Together, we’ll bring awareness to our senses and connect the six days of creation to the ongoing cre
