Ricca is originally from the Philadelphia area but has proudly called Washington, DC home for over a decade. A George Washington University alum and current part-time graduate student, Ricca currently works at the Department of State—where, when the government isn’t shutdown, she gets to combine her passion for public service with national security and foreign policy. In her free time, Ricca loves spending time with friends and family, exploring the city, traveling, playing sports, and eating and drinking her way through DC’s vibrant food scene. After a sports injury, she discovered a new passion for crafting—proving there’s always a silver lining. A devoted dog enthusiast, Ricca is perpetually dreaming of adopting a furry companion (maybe this will finally be the year)!
