Sarah grew up in Alexandria and has returned to NoVA where she now lives in Arlington. She works in DC as an oncology nurse. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys baking, spending time outside, watching junky TV, and playing with her nieces and nephews.
For her Capstone Project, Sarah will be identifying and connecting Jewish healthcare workers to each other at Georgetown Hospital, where she works. She plans to act as a Jewish representative for the Hospital’s Equity, Inclusion, & Diversity Committee, helping to create and distribute emails for all major Jewish holidays. She hopes to cultivate an environment where Jewish employees feel accepted in a Catholic Hospital, and have greater opportunities for connection with one another.
