Samuel Milligan (he/him) is excited to join GatherDC! Born and raised in South Jersey, Sam majored in English and Environmental Studies at Bowdoin College before moving to D.C. in July 2020 and earning a Master’s degree in Education. After two years teaching sixth grade English, he looks forward to leveraging his love of fiction and storytelling as tools to support Gather’s community- and connection-building mission. Outside of work, you can likely find Sam playing pickup basketball, writing short fiction, baking cookies, or moderating unsanctioned wrestling matches between his two cats, Victor Hugo and Agatha Christie.
