Born and raised in South Jersey, Samuel Milligan (he/him) majored in English and Environmental Studies at Bowdoin College before moving to DC in July 2020 and earning a Master’s degree in Education. After two years teaching sixth grade English, he looks forward to leveraging his love of fiction and storytelling as tools to support Gather’s community- and connection-building mission. Outside of work, you can likely find Sam playing pickup basketball, writing short fiction, baking cookies, or wandering through DC’s many bookstores.
