Who are we? SHINDC is dedicated to celebrating Sephardic Heritage in the Nation’s Capital and building bridges doing so. Anyone who enjoys doing either or both of those things is welcome to join us.
What do we offer 20s and 30s? SHINDC engages Young Professionals of all backgrounds who want to celebrate Sephardic heritage by offering cultural and educational, as well as traditional Jewish programming, including parties and other social events, holiday celebrations, Shabbat evening and day services, discussions and dinners. The one thing that will always be present at every single one of our events is delicious Sephardic style cuisine. We also provide unique opportunities that employ Sephardic perspectives to build bridges with and engage various cultural and faith communities.
