Who are we? Congregation Beth El is a growing, vibrant conservative synagogue in Bethesda, Maryland. We cherish our sense of community. We worship soulfully. We celebrate joyously. We comfort sensitively. We learn continuously. We dialogue respectfully. We are egalitarian, inclusive, innovative, and participatory. We are a singing congregation. Our clergy inspire and empower us to marry modernity and Jewish tradition as we create diverse paths to spiritual fulfillment, social action, and securing peace and security for our brothers and sisters in Israel. What do we offer 20s and 30s? We offer a welcoming community for all young adults to celebrate. We have occasional programs geared for young adults. We also can create Havurot, groups of friends, through our community. We also offer very discounted membership rates for young adults so there is no financial barrier if you choose to join the synagogue.
