*Lead creative direction for all digital content from ideation to publication – including scripting, producing, and overseeing editorial on videos, concepting and overseeing production of graphics, facilitating creative brainstorming with the multimedia team, maintaining brand consistency and strong authorial voice across channels, developing campaign themes and slogans, coordinating livestream and podcast strategy, and overseeing testing efforts.
*Manage a broad multi-platform distribution program – including building out networks of ideologically aligned influencers, creating digital supporter communities, coordinating collaborations with allied groups and influencers, and orchestrating paid media buys.
*Design and manage a conversion funnel through which viewers of J Street content can become activists and donors, analyzing performance metrics across all platforms at all times to refine strategy and track ROI.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
*At least 7 years of digital media experience, including building and scaling multi-platform digital programs, digital organizing, and managing paid ad spends;
*Experience managing teams and vendor relationships;
*Experience building and managing program budgets;
*Alignment with J Street’s nuanced pro-Israel, pro-peace positioning and messaging;
*Outstanding creative and editorial skills, with a keen ability to boil down complex ideas into digestible, emotional content;
*Experience ideating, writing, producing, and overseeing editing of video content;
*Strong analytical skills, with ability to interpret data and optimize strategy based on metrics;
*Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices, including how to convert content viewers into activists and donors over time;
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
