I’m looking for someone to take over my apartment-mate’s portion of the lease which ends October 27th. I am hoping to renew the lease for another 9 months to a year.
The apartment is 2 bed, 2 full bath, so you’d have your own bedroom and bathroom. The apartment has an in-unit washer/dryer, central heating/AC, dishwasher, a comfortable living room, and a spacious kitchen. It’s in a modern, well-maintained building, with a rooftop, a pool, a gym, Amazon lockers, and a concierge. It’s located at 300 Massachusetts Ave. NW (right above Wiseguys Pizza) on the 13th floor and has a terrific view of the Building Museum and Washington Monument. It’s a five minute walk from the Chinatown and Judiciary Square metro stops and ten minutes from Union Station.
Your share of the rent would be ~1700-1900/mo. Smoke-free building/home. Neither my previous apartment mate nor I had pets, but that is not necessarily a dealbreaker for me.
As for me, I’m a twenty-seven year-old with a background in public policy working for a small research firm here in DC, and I’ve been told I’m an easy roommate. A fun fact about me is I started studying Russian in college and eventually ended up studying abroad in Kazakhstan for 9 months.
