Come Friday, we all need a home cooked meal and a bit of shal-OM-y peace So join EntryPointDC’s Shabbat Clusters for a once a month stress release A place to go that’s welcoming where we can feel like nothing’s wrong Even though work can sometimes be tough and weeks seem very long
Meet a new crew or sign up with your friend squad or bae if that is more your deal Clusters will meet at someone’s home or a local restaurant for a potluck Shabbat meal Your group will choose the last three months of dates, but the first three are all set You can get money to cover meal costs so the day-of there will be no need to sweat
Clusters can be grouped by interest, age, single or taken, at any location in the DMV Some previous interests have been 30 somethings, outdoors, social justice, art, and foodies You can be a coordinator, help host, or, of course, simply participate Coordinators will train to be leaders, create community and make each cluster great
Beyond building meaningful relationships, bonding, and dining in your cluster over the next season You’ll get discounts to EntryPointDC events when you bring your new friends which is another great reason To join Shabbat Clusters, get involved with the greater DC Jewish Community and EntryPoint Which puts on programs like holiday celebrations, comedy shows, and service days that never disappoint
Shabbat Clusters is a program of good vibes, good people, and good food So don’t forget to enroll by March 22nd, before registration will conclude And we hope to see you for a kick-off dinner on March 31st Which will just be the beginning of your Shabbat Clusters thirst
Registration for Spring 2017 Shabbat Clusters closes Wednesday, March 22nd. The cluster season begins with an optional Kick-Off Shabbat Dinner for all participants on Friday, March 31st at the Edlavitch DCJCC. The Spring 2017 season is from April-September and the next season starts in Fall 2017.
