JCADA’s mission is to support all victims and survivors of intimate partner violence to become empowered and live safely; educate the community about intimate partner violence and the appropriate responses; and prevent future generations from experiencing intimate partner violence.
JCADA provides legal, clinical, and victim advocacy services all victims and survivors of intimate partner violence, as well as their friends and families, who are age 15+ in VA or age 16+ in MD and DC. JCADA’s services are 100% free of charge, confidential, and provided without regard to race, national origin, ability, background, faith, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, or immigration status.
JCADA offers a variety of educational programs to teens, college students, adults, and clergy within the Jewish community. JCADA’s workshops teach participants the characteristics of healthy relationships, how to identify abuse, and the practical skills needed for long-term prevention.
