SUMMARY:Or Shalom Community Pesach Seder
DESCRIPTION:Join Or Shalom for our Second Night Community Seder\, a warm and welcoming celebration of freedom\, tradition\, and connection. We will gather to retell the story of the Exodus\, reflect on its meaning today\, and share in a festive meal together. This Seder is family-friendly and targeted for people of all ages. There will be opportunities for separate kids programming\, as well as many ways to engage kids throughout the Seder. \nThis is a community pescatarian potluck—Or Shalom will provide ritual foods\, drinks\, and some main dishes\, but we invite you to help fill the table! \nHow to Participate:\nThere is no set cost to attend\, but we ask that each participant: \n– Bring a Kosher For Pesach dish in reusable dishware that serves 6-8 people for our pescatarian potluck (please provide a full list of ingredients to accommodate dietary needs).\n– Consider helping to make this special night possible! Sign up to volunteer for setup\, cleanup\, or providing ritual items.\n– Please bring wine and/or grape juice for your household and your reusable tableware.  \nLike Or Shalom’s early days as a lay-led and community-driven congregation\, this Pesach Community Seder needs volunteers—and it can’t happen without you! \nEveryone is welcome—whether you’re celebrating with family\, on your own\, or new to the holiday. Come share in song\, storytelling\, and a meal that reflects our community’s spirit of inclusivity and joy. We can’t wait to celebrate with you! \nPlease RSVP by Sunday\, April 6 so we can adequately prepare. You’ll find everything you need\, including how to RSVP\, sign up to volunteer or make a donation\, and view our guidelines on foods that are Kosher for Pesach\, on the event page.
