SUMMARY:NoVA Tashlich with GatherDC and Rodef 2100
DESCRIPTION:Join friends at GatherDC & Rodef 2100 for this special Rosh Hashanah ritual! \nWe’ll be gathering together for tashlich (i.e. casting away)\, a cathartic tradition for the Jewish New Year in which we toss pieces of old bread (or pebbles\, leaves\, sticks\, etc.) into a body of water to symbolically cast away regrets and disappointments from the past year. \nGatherDC and Rodef 2100 will provide the materials – just bring yourself! We look forward to coming together for this special tradition. \nWhere: An accessible waterfront location in Arlington. The exact location will be shared with attendees. \nWhat to expect: Join other Jewish 20s & 30s for ritual\, reflection\, and meaning-making as we head into the new year. \nFrom 6:00-6:30 there will be pizza provided.
