DESCRIPTION:Honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with an afternoon of hands on service through A Wider Circle’s Essential Support program! A Wider Circle provides furniture and household items to individuals and families transitioning out of homelessness. \nVolunteers will help sort donations like household furniture\, linens\, kitchen items\, and more\, as well as stock the showrooms where A Wider Circle clients select items for their homes. Accessibility: This project will require that volunteers are on their feet for the majority of the program. \nRegistration is required for this free program and we will not accept walk-ins. We anticipate this program selling out and ask that you only sign up if you are committed to showing up that day. \nThe minimum age to volunteer is 7.
