SUMMARY:A Light in the Dark: DC Unity Suppers by Leap Forward & Herut DC
DESCRIPTION:Breaking bread together is a beautiful way to get to know our neighbours\, hear each other’s stories\, and build strong communities. The Unity-Building Supper Series is a series of interactive dinners designed to honor and celebrate culture\, artistry\, and the unique traditions that shape us as human beings in the greater Baltimore and Washington DC region. We work to center creativity\, collaboration\, and community building with a focus on Black\, Jewish\, and Black-Jewish relations. For our event on January 9th\, we will connect over a meal and have a conversation about what brings meaning to our lives as well as navigating the journey of being human and returning to the core truths within us. This month\, we will discuss the theme of being a light in the dark\, particularly centring the holidays of Hanukkah and Kwanzaa.\nCost Range: 10 – 18
